05/03/2007
Hype shit:
Dance Mania was a Chicago house label whose roster of artists read like a who’s-who of Classic innovators of house music. Lil Louis, Mike Dunn, Paul Johnson, and many others began there. It soon became the sole provider of a music that was named “Ghetto House,” a term first used by DJ FUNK. Leading makers of this music included: DJ DEEON, JAMMIN GERALD, DJ FUNK, GANT MAN and so on.
Creating the craze, Dance Mania became known for releasing these tracks only as white labels, which they referred to as " tests." So to fit the demand for the music and keep the fire burning- here is the sixth release on Ghetto Test Chicago by Belgian Producer Kill Frenzy.
